Terms of use

A browser tool, not a file service

These terms cover your use of nextool.org. The site gives you tools that run in your browser. For the file tools, you select a file, the page processes it on your device, and you download a result if the job finishes. NexTool does not upload those files to its server, does not store them for you, and does not promise to recover them. Closing the tab discards the in-memory copy. You are responsible for keeping the original and for checking the export before you rely on it or send it to anyone else.

You may use the tools only on files you have the right to process. You may not use the site to hide, transform, or distribute material you are not allowed to copy, or to break into someone else’s system. Redaction, compression, and format changes do not grant you a new copyright and do not remove your duty to respect the old one. If a court or a contract limits what you may do with a file, follow that limit. The site does not review your files and cannot know whether you are allowed to merge them.

No warranty for the export

The tools are provided as they run in your browser, without a warranty of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. A merge can preserve a blank page you meant to drop if you leave it selected. A split names files in a plain sequence that you may need to rename. Compress redraws pages as JPEG and can soften text. Redact burns a black box into the marked page and can fail to hide text you did not cover. Word to PDF draws a picture of the preview. OCR can misread. Excel formulas that use your configured AI provider are answers from that provider, not from NexTool. You must check the result. NexTool is not liable for a file you sent before checking, for a lost original you did not keep, or for a decision you made from a highlight or a number on screen.

API keys you type into Settings stay in this browser and are sent only to the base URL you entered, when you use a feature that needs them. You are responsible for that key, for that provider’s terms, and for not pasting a key into the wrong field. Ads, when enabled, are served by Google under the privacy policy. The site may change or remove a tool without notice. Guides and tool pages are explanations, not professional advice. If you need a certified translation, a legally binding redaction, or a print-ready PDF from a specific application, use that application. Questions about these terms go to ads@nextool.org.

After you download

The file you download is yours to check and yours to send. NexTool does not become a party to that message, and it cannot pull the file back, expire a link, or prove what the file contained, because it did not keep the file. If a result looks wrong, keep the original and try again, or use another program. The contact address can hear about a broken page. It cannot repair a document you attach, and you should not attach a confidential one. Ads, when the publisher has enabled them, are a separate relationship with Google and are described in the privacy policy, including how to opt out of personalized ads. Using a tool does not require you to click an ad.
