Burn a black box into a PDF page
How to use it
Redact covers a region and burns it into the page so the text underneath is not a layer you can delete later. The sample badge file contains “Badge: 4821”. Cover it, export, and try to copy the number. If you still can, do not send the file. You must cover every repeat of the secret, including footers. Other pages are not redacted for you. The marked page becomes a picture. This does not certify the redaction. Read the redact guide before you use a private file. Unlock passwords first.
The file stays in this browser. NexTool does not upload it and does not keep a copy after you leave the page. Download the result and check it before you send it on. If the tab runs out of memory, the job stops and the original is still the one on your computer.
